Pre- purchase inspections:
Building inspections, on a property, do not include the condition of the swimming pool. Usually the most that's ever inspected is the condition of the pool fence.

Can you afford to purchase the property then spend thousands on pool repairs, without any negotiation on the settlement price?

If not then for around $250.00 for a standard pool, a full leak test, plus a written report on condition of pool equipment is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

Pressure testing:
If you're a pool builder, owner builder, concretor, or landscaper you probably already know the value of pressure testing pipes around pools.

So why pay someone else to do it?

If, when the project is finished, there is a plumbing leak in the pool, unfortunately it is your word against everyone else's. Normally the offending leak, (once located) has to be dug up, to prove fault.

Having an independent, leak detection business, pressure test plumbing, not only allows for problems to be fixed before the landscaping & concreting are completed, but provides a written report as to the integrity of your plumbing. This can mean that if a problem occurs after you leave the job, the offending leak can be located, and maybe bypassed at someone else's expense.
