Welcome to the Cedar
Creek Estate
The property is quickly developing into a popular tourist attraction with the addition of the Prime Ministers Way,
which is a short stroll through rainforest which leads to
the Glow-worm Caves.
The caves consist of two main cave structures linked by a
tunnel with one cave dubbed the Cathedral Cave. Bookings have already been placed for wedding ceremonies in this unique setting.
The initial concept for the artificial glow-worm cave arose from
concern over increased tourism to particular sections of Tamborine National Park at night. Cave construction took fourteen months
finishing in mid 2004.
We introduced our first 100 glow-worms, Arachnocampa flava,
into the cave in February 2005. Once this colony established
we opened our doors to the public on the 1st March, 2006.
The winery also has a restaurant which adjoins the Gazebo
and Deck overlooking Wild Duck Lake. The Lake is a 15 megalitre sanctuary for the native wildlife in the area. The reaches of Cedar
Creek, which flows through the property, are also home to a
number of platypus.

7 days a week from 10am – 4pm.
Tours run ½ hourly.
Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day.
